For a fist low wing plane, I would have to say either a CG Tiger 2 or the astro hog. The tiger 2 is a low wing trainer capable of aerobatics and still floats in the air. I had one and flew it for 7 years. The astro hog is aslo another great floater and also cabable of aerobatics. Both these planes will get a a first time low wing flyer off to a great start. The Ultra Sport is a quick, responsive flying plane and will keep you on your toes. It really depends on your experience of flying and what your looking to get into. If its aerobatics, I'd stick with the tiger series and if its speed, the Ultra Sport. Well I'm sure you'll get plenty of options in here. Have fun.
