I think what i will do it pull it up a small amount and use the fine line tape. That sounds the safest. You also bring up a good question regarding compatibility. I kept the back of the canopy cut out area, that will be used as a test before spraying the actual canopy frame. All good ideas and i appreciate the help. The paint is on the way so i should be able to spray it next weekend. I will let you know how it turns out.
