RE: Goldberg Extra 300
Big Al Since you need to rebuild anyway have you gave any thought to making a whole new wing thats either full symetrical or semi, I have done this for several people to help them get a trainer to fly more like a advanced aerobatic plane, Since its a trainer wing all the ribs are the same and fairly easy to make them. If you don't have a pattern here is what I do, use the scrap out from a kit where the ribs was to get my form lay it out on paper to start with then after I get what I want transfer it over to a piece of 1/16 ply to use as a template to outline the others. Another thing I use is one of the actual ribs from the trainer, if I can get one to come out clean. Mark the one side then flip it over to mark the other. A easy way to get a wing plan paper is to use some masking paper it comes in varies widths plus on a roll so length isn't a issue.
