Default Need Help With GP 60 Floats

I should have the manual, and will try to find it today. I have a scanner so I will scan the setup page(s). You should mount the floats with the step at the CG or slightly behind it. Also keep them spread apart about 1/4 the wing length. The tops of the floats should be parallel with the underside of the wing or give the wing a slight positive incedence angle by making the dimension from the float to the wing larger at the leading edge than at the trailing edge. This will help to get the plane off the water. Mr. Jim Casey has put together a web page for the Florida Float Flyers that has a "ton" of info on floats and setups. Check out other threads in this forum and look for his name and you will see a link to the FFF site.............Seaplane
