RE: Plane suggestions for a TTPro .36
If you want a kit to build over the winter, I would suggest finding an "old" 40 sized kit. From what I have seen, older 40 size planes are typically smaller than modern 40 sized planes. Right now I am finishing up an old Cox/Airtronics "Warlock" (bought from eBay) that I plan on putting my TT 36 in. It is a 40 sized plane, but is not even close to being as big or heavy as all my newer 40's. Also, consider that I have built a few modern 40 sized planes that flew great with an OS 40LA. The ball bearing TT 36 probably has more power than the 40LA. I suspect my 36 with fly the Warlock with authority. Best of luck!
