Default RE: Slowpoke 40 ARF

Having campaigned Great Planes to bring back a kit I can tell you exactly what you are going to have to show them. Minnflyer and I worked for almost 3 years to have the Ultra Sport 40 and 60 brought back. The magic number that I was told they wanted to see was 300. We started a thread in the Kit Building forum and showed more than 300 legitimate people that wanted to buy the kit if it was re-released

Now, with that being said. I love the SlowPoke. It's one of my favorite planes to fly. I have a Slowpoke 40 that has over 600 flights on it, and it's still going strong. But would I buy a Slowpoke ARF. Never in a million years. Mine is kit built, and any more that I do will also be kit built as well. The Slowpoke 40 kit will be back in stock late November (according to Tower's website). http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...LXRB44&P=7  If you want a Slowpoke I would recommend bulding one from the kit. It's not a hard plane to build, and you'll probably have a better plane than the ARF is.
