RE: eflite apprentic 15e 1st catastrophe
I flew mine after a lot of different repairs & it always flew well.
By the end of its useful life the rear of the fuselage was held to the front by three flat pieces of carbon fiber epoxyed, one to each side & the bottom, the non-Eflite replacement motor was mounted using a cut up piece of sheet metal with some long bolts.
It is very rugged, very easy to fix & very easy to fly making it an excellent first plane.
When I improved after a number of months rather then replace major parts which were getting long in the tooth I moved to a balsa SIG Senorita as my high wing trainer. Except for the servos the electronics were all transferable.
