Agreed that better geometry is a start but from what I can see the fixing point is quite some distance from the hinge line.
Sandor... Your task is Find me some meaty cylinders to sort this issue out. I will order 20 to start with, and offer these as free upgrades to any of my Viper Jet Customers who are unhappy with their current set up. My cost inc shipping. I will even fit them for those customers that want to get their VJet to me.

we could try some gear cylinders . i think the 250 series will do just fine.
mill a low horn if you want , i will check my viper out in the morning.
