What size (diameter) nose and main tires come stock with the SM Viper 2.6m struts?
I'm planning on using the stock SM struts, but with Electron ER-50eVo retracts, brakes, wheels/tires and door actuators.
I received the struts from SM and they can take the following Electron tire diameters:
Nose: Either 90mm (3.54") or 100mm (3.94").
Main: Either 100mm (3.94") or 115mm (4.53").

Default Balance tab leading edge

The balance tabs on the ailerons and elevators have blunt leading edges, not rounded leading edges. Does the drag from this when ailerons and elevators are deflected cause any issues?
Also, the stab and elevators are not finished on the inside edges. Should these be sealed and finished to keep air from getting inside the stab and elevators during high speed flight?

If that's the standard of what is exposed, make's me wonder what the unseen superstructure is like

Not an issue. I had one for several years with many great flights and never a problem. You can always create balsa end caps should you desire but they're not needed. Wishing you many enjoyable flights with your Viper!

I have borescoped the wings, horiz stabs and vert stab and all are very well glued. It's only the elevator tips and I can easily fix and add wood to seal.
My main concern was the flat leading edges of the balance tabs and if the drag when deflected would be a concern. Per f106jax it isn't an issue.

Mine was the same I had to sand to get rid of rubbing, also the flap gap seal requires some attention. I got lucky it will hang up when you have them down and then go up, I had one that would go up. Luckily someone mentioned the issue that same day and I just the flaps back down and after that made it were the travel didnt go past the plastic gap cover.. another fix is to heat them up and roll them a bit more.

Thanks FenderBean and megafly. I'll check the flap gap.
What is the typical setting for full down flaps, 45 deg, 60 deg, other?
If the seal edge is exposed at the ideal full flap setting then I'll sand/roll as necessary to correct.
