To try & solve the gear door problems, I have ordered a couple of Robart 3/8th inch cylinders with 2.5 inch stroke from Tower Hobbies. These give 11lbs pull at 100psi. I have a spare one here & it is possible to mount the door fixing one inch from the hinge line & still fully open & close the door, so giving much more leverage. If that still not enough, I will combine them with the rare earth magnets. If that fails, I will see if Sandor has a better solution. It will probably be a couple of weeks for delivery to Cyprus from the USA. I wiil report my findings later.
