Yes, if you are solely looking for a crawler, the scx10 would be better, but for trail driving or general offroading, you have the disadvantage of having no differentials. With both permanently locked axles, it will have a larger turning radius and it takes more to turn it. The cc01 has front and rear diffs and includes a removable rear locker, so you can lock the rear for extra traction without sacrificing steering of a locked front. If you ever wanted to, there are reversible ways to lock the front. Its shorter wheelbase also helps to reduce the turning radius.
