Default RE: Nova ready to maiden!

I'll have to pull the wing off and look at mine again. I'll try to do that when I get home this evening and post a pic when I do. The wing hasn't been off in quite a while as the wing bolts are a pain to get in and out without dropping down into the belly pan. I didn't build this one, bought it RTF from another guy here on RCU that lives close to me. I'm certain about the rudder being pull-pull because I remember adjusting it after ripping the rudder loose and repairing it. (ran out of fuel, deastick landing didn't quite clear an electric fence) I'm pretty sure I remember dual elevator servos's, if not then it has the Y-rod set up. Can't remember for sure, but I'm pretty sure it's not a pull-pull on the elevator.

As far as the cowl, It has quite a bit cut away in the front for cooling, not sure if it needed that much, but I haven't had any problems with it getting hot. The big hole in the side of the cowl is partiallly due to the engine being mounted at a little past 90 degrees so the muffler would tuck up under the bottom of the fuse. I'm running a 4.8v 2000mah JR flat pack tucked up just behind the firewall and a Futaba 127 reciever. Engine is a .46 fx. I didn't see any stick on weights, but the firewall and landing gear mounting area has been glassed over for fuel proofing, and the cowl is pretty thick, so with the cowl on it probably didn't need much if any added weight. I do love the way it flies, does the best knife edge of any plane I've got at the moment.
