Agreed that better geometry is a start but from what I can see the fixing point is quite some distance from the hinge line.

Find me some meaty cylinders to sort this issue out. I will order 20 to start with, and offer these as free upgrades to any of my Viper Jet Customers who are unhappy with their current set up. My cost inc shipping. I will even fit them for those customers that want to get their VJet to me.

as you can see : original , jet-1a (they dont make them anymore) , "Big joe"
i tried the jet-1a also on my nice flying hawk , but the doors also always opened.
now "Big joe" should work..
