Ok guys, I have gotten quite tired of this engine so I put it aside for awhile. Last week I broke it out again and put a walbro 624 carb on it. I had to make a new isolater. Now the darn thing idles like a dream but at about 3/4 throddle it cuts out and tries to die. I have tried another carb and same issue. I have decided that I have had enough of this engine and day before yesterday I ordered a homelite from Gary Troutman out of Kemp TX. I don't think you can beat his prices, flywheel trimmed, prop hub made, exhaust done, and a velosity stack all for 135.00 shipped. I have finally finished the skis for this plane. I'll try to get some pics up soon.
