You should get plenty of blades (Upper and Lower). Usually you can just bend back the flybar instead of replacing it. Some shafts might get bent in a crash, but it wasn't that common for me.

My personal opinion is upgrades for the CX2 don't do much except make it look better. The upgrades that I think are worth it are some Xtreme motors. They have more power and is a lot cheaper to replace the brushes when they go bad instead of having to buy a new stock motor when those brushes go bad. Then maybe a battery with a higher C rating. Those should help a little for outdoor flying. Otherwise the CX2 flies pretty good without upgrades.

The CX2 really isn't ment for outdoor flying unless it is really calm out. To fly outside in almost any wind condition a 450 sized helicopter or bigger is needed.
