Yo dude, I lived in Germany for 17 years, great fun. You can run just about anywhere you want, I used to go to the tank training area out back behind our camp, there is also a place called VOSVINKEL MX BAAN, it used to be a moto cross track but nobody goes there anymore with mx bikes. Whilst you there try to go to Dortmund model bau messe, its probably the biggest model show in Germany. I still have lots of friends down there so I'll ask around for you, even if you go into town and just have a talk with people in bars or resteraunts you'll find people who share the same interests. You could also just go to the local police station and ask them where the locals do there model racing. The Gastapo hasnt been around anymore since the end of the war and you'll find the Germans that are still alive are quite friendly.
