ORIGINAL: slowglowflyer
I have a YS 160 looking for a new home. I want a nice aerobatic arf capable of slow flight, pattern style flying, and some basic 3d type flying (nothing too fancy!). I have found the aero-works 35cc 260 and the extreme flight 78'' extra 300. Mike
Extreme Flight says the 78" is available in the electric version and the gas/glow will be available soon. The blue/white color scheme really looks nice.
I'm surprised the EF is lighter than the AW, but it's like about 2lbs lighter. I wonder if that's just the electric version's specs. I don't know many mfg's who offer two different versions of the same plane, and that raises a question worth considering. Is that 11lb plane going to handle a glow/gas engine at 11lbs.
Man, that blue/white scheme does look nice, doesn't it.
