You will 100% need the longer shaft mod to fly outdoors.

The blades are close and can touch this causes "blade clack" basically cutting the blade and dropping you out of the sky.

Get any metal upgrades you can.. Inner shaft, blade grips, swash, etc..

I can't remember what metal parts come stock..

Aftermarket motors will definitely help get the speed up and help fight outdoor winds..
