Default need good beginners package for cheap

You may be looking into the wrong hobby.

The complete airplane packages that are in the $100 range, fall into the toy category.

Do they fly? Yea, however I can make a piece of paper fly also. These planes like the Fire Bird series controls only left and right and power. They are controllable to a point, however if you can manage the first day and not destroy it, you may master it the first day.

Best bet, take you hundred bucks and save it to 200 and look into a glider, like the Esprit.

Save it to 300 and get a Super Star Select.

In radio control, you get what you pay for. The more money you spend the better equipment you will get.

I have seen people spend $500 in $100 airplanes and crash them all and think this hobby sucks. However if they would have spent the $300 for the better airplane, they never would have crashed and would have spent less money.
