compression?
Logically there really shouldn't be any real change in the compression.
Some obvious questions tho--is the head sealed tightly --screws tight----etc
Was the contact areas squeaky clean when installing the head to the crankcase body? That is, no foriegn particles to corrupt the seal?
By chance did the old head gasket get left on and thereby having a double thickness gasket, which would lower the compression?
