Default RE: Scorpion motors for 2x2 model

I've been looking at the Scorpion motors for a while and the numbers for the S5525-225Kv look very good: [link]http://www.innov8tivedesigns.com/product_info.php?cPath=21_25_85&products_id=550[/link]
It's a little lighter than the Axi 5330 but a lot more powerful (over 3000W).

I asked Lucien Miller from Innov8tive Designs about the new F3A motor. Here's his answer:

"Scorpion is just about done with the development phase of this motor. I got an Email from the owner of the Scorpion company a couple days ago, and he said that there is a good chance that I will have a prototype of this motor in time to show at the AMA convention in Ontario, California January 8th through the 10th.
This motor is going to be based on the 5030 size stator, and is currently planned to have a Kv value of 220. It is designed to run on a 10-cell Li-Po battery pack with props in the 19 to 21 inch range. The motor should come in just a hair under 600 grams, but this has not been confirmed yet. Max output power at 70 amps and 37 volts will be 2590 watts."
