The Germans had prototypes flying that looked a whole lot like these, more than 60 years ago. They are called "Horten" type flying wings, and they don't need a vertical stab because the lift has some kind of a "bell" shaped distribution spanwise, with a lot of negative angle of attack at the wing tips.
