I like Polly Scale acrylics myself. Thins with water and doesn't stink up the house. Also like Xtracrylix which I get in USA from Roll Models.
Since my local hobby shops are an exercise in frustration most of the time, my go to hobby shop has been Tower Hobbies for years now with no complaints!
