My 2 cents... Contender is a great flyer, never had a 4* but I hear lots of good things. I have a Kaos .40 and it flies like it is on rails and lands very sweet! fun to fly but not an aerobatic airplane, however it will do a wicked snaproll!!! I am going to throw one more suggestion at you... Tower Hobbies Uproar .40. It is easy to build and it is pretty forgiving with the fat wing on it and very inexpensive too. You could also build a Tiger .60 from Goldberg, it is a great flyer also. the Super Sportster is also an wesome airplane and looks great.
