Default RE: Himoto Brake Upgrade

I followed this set up for the brakes and they worked very well. After 15min. of run time the brakes again did not work. The inside metal pad actualy melted into the support arm, on both sides. Thus freezing them in place. I am working on a metal rotorwith rubber pads. Himoto cannotsell the good metal slotted rotors with the pads here in the USA, cause of asbestos on the pads. So US residents beaware while ordering the brakes, you will notrecieve the (GOOD) brakes. I have encountered quite a few pplwith stoppage problems onthe 1:8th scale models with larger engines. If we ban together we might be able to get Himoto Racing to manufacture their pads withan organic compound, so they can be offered to my fellow US residents.Anyone with brake enhancements, or ideas are welcome, and encouraged to post their comments in this BRAKEUPGRADE thread.
