When it comes to royalties on the classic pattern birds, it is not companies but the actual modelers/designers of the bird. Lets just say that Don Lowe was in this for the modeler, and not for the profits. This is one of the reasons the Hangar 9 Phoenix 7 came to life, not to mention its incredible heritage as well. Our own kind believe their 30 year old designs are worth large amounts of money. We at Horizon will pay the royalties if the numbers make sense. Keep in mind that although we (you and I) believe there are thousands of guys looking to buy these, that probably is not the case.
