im thinking of getting FEJ F18, but i heard some horror stories about the quality of this jet. Is it worth getting? I have been in RC for a long time and Im a strong believer of you get what you paid for. i know that FEJ arent expensive compared to others so to me that may say something. thanks..

I had one of the very first FEJ 1/7 F-18F in the US. I recently ordered and received a brand new one. There is no comparison to the quality of the kit, as now delivered, to the original one I got a year ago. This was FEJ's first foray into the larger jets and they have learned quite a bit in that time. There is now very little one has to do to make this an EXCELLENT flying aircraft. Lessons learned over time have now been incorporated into the newest version of this particular jet. I do not hesitate, in the least, to recommend it to someone capable of flying and landing a scale jet! I have enjoyed flying my first one so much that I ordered and paid for another, even though the first one is still flying well!
