I used the following brands with a lot of success:

ESC - Turnigy, DualSky, TMM, Hobby Wing
Motor - Hyperion, Plettenberg, AXI, DualSky (4260 and smaller, they work great, for me best value for money as I have pushed some really hard till they failed and it was well punished)
Prop - APC and XOAR, I prefer XOAR props

My experience with Turnigy motor was not good, but many say the newer batch of motors are good, you can read the reviews on Hobby City.
