Yes, one is twice as fast but I guarantee that the average beginner flying a trainer, a typical sport pilot, warbird pilot, etc. will never, ever notice the difference. It might come into play in high level competition but not for general flying.
I've seen excellent pilots with a beat up old Futaba 72mHz 4-channel from the 90's outfly someone with the latest and greatest in radio gear.
For anyone just starting in RC, I wouldn't worry much about this sort of stuff.
hehe yup. You will get a lot more return from a couple of cases of fuel than you will all the fancy radio gear.
