I'm back with more questions! I've been reading up on li-po batteries and balancer/charger units to the point that I have brain overload and can no longer process info.
Motor and ESC info(what I could find): motor A21 brushless outrunner made by Dynam current 1.8a- 13a, voltage 7.2- 12.6, ESC 18A
So assuming 13A maximum x 11.1v = ~ 144 watts

Batteries: 1250mah 11.1v 3s
My local hobby store carries the Power Edge 11.1v 2200mah 30c for $55(next smaller size is a 1300mah). I read a bunch of excellent reviews and the size seems like it will fit ok into fuselage. Hobbypartz carries the Blue Lipo(same size, haven't seen any reviews) for less than $20. Is it worth it to spend 3x the $$ on power edge?

IMHO No.
The "Blue" packs produce 25C which is FAR more than you'll need for your plane.
They will also later transfer over to other planes.
They work fine, though I've only been testing them for a month...
Instead of spending more for a higher price pack, get MORE packs instead.
That way you can have several packs ready to go for you at the field.
Also you'll tend to collectively cycle them less often, effectively making them last longer.

Charger/Balancer: 2~3s stock cheapo: must have one that will plug into AC wall outlet and hopefully charge upto 6s(so I can charge 2 at a time. Would like to keep charger in the $30-$50 range.

I would like to have 2 or 3 bigger batteries and a good AC balancer/charger and keep a budget of $100-$150
Thanks people

That will do the job.
