I just discovered i broke my the lower rotor head. one of the molded pins snapped off. Causeing the heli to always push forward.
my question is should i replace it with an aluminum piece? Will those pins be as tough as they look on an aluminum head? or should i keep using plastic ones?
Sunco,
Guy drill through and put metal and make their own. "I" choose to just buy the CNC lower rotor post. The CX2 and CX300 come with the blue CNC top head. Beyond these two piece I would not recommend anymore CNC du to the weight and.................when you crash, and things start to break, like the pin on the lower rortor post, that absorbs enegery! So when you make some parts bullit proof then the parts connected then start to break. However back the CX I have been flying that little puppy for two years and done fine as I discribed. Good Luck.
