your right the novus FP is hard to fly, taking off the ground is even harder as it will try to skim left or right. i usually take off from my hand as its easier to fly that way . the radio trims only get you so far , i used the heli ball links to trim it out, i also trimmed the gyro a 1/2 turn more so it keeps the tail a bit more steady. i got 20 flights with mine before the tail motor gave out. it is still hard to fly but as long as you give it tap controlls it flyes in the direction you want. i usually fly planes with rudder and elevator so i put all my elevator and rudder controlls on one side , i put the aileron controlls with the throttle . it made it easier for me to fly that way as i need to change directions pretty quickly in the house
