I personally chose a Losi 8ight over the D8 and now in a trade, I'm getting a D8. My reasoning for getting the 8ight was just researching and driving both. The 8ight felt more natural to me rather than the D8. But as mentioned it's all about driving.

The D8 is obviously popular because Hara drove it to the winners circle. I'm pretty sure he had parts on that one that weren't available to the public, but who knows.

Either way, enjoy whatever you get.
