I assume you have flown some planks on your simm?? Have you had any stick time at all with a plane? I'm guessing you can handle much more than a trainer. I fly both helis and planes and recently let a heli guy fly a plane. He had no trouble at all.

I would think about a profile. They are slow and maneuverable like a heli and you'll have a blast. With a little practice, you'll be hovering it just like a heli!
