I am about ready to cover mine with calendered vinyl. Here is what I have done to mine. One piece wing with spar webs front and rear out to 3 bays from the end of the wing, 2" sheeting top and bottom on the leading and trailing edge. Twin rudders with the servos mounted in the rudders, one piece elevator, flaps that work both up and down tied into the rear elevator working in the opposite direction, we use to do this on our control line models for tight loops. Made all my own hinges with no gap on the hinge line. For power I will be useing a stihl 23.6cc gas or a duropower 32cc gas. The wood quality in this kit was very bad, in talking with the kit builder he told me that balsa of any quality was getting real hard to get now, he did say he would hand pick a kit for me at a added cost. I have another senior on order and I will make this one into a mid- wing and my next one will be a low wing, by that time I will be 75, still farming still flying. As soon as I find out why my camera won't down load to my computer I will post some pictures.
