RE: Post your telemasters and mods
I was wondering how many posts it would take to get the "use the search function" comment. How about this, you type in senior telemaster in the search box and see how many quality threads you find. All you get is somebody converting the ARF to elctric power. I know my way around a forum or two. I have been in RC for over 6 years, I have been out of it for a while and had to get a new screen name, hence the low post count. But thanks for the link to the flaps. I saw that a few weeks ago and thats where I got my idea to take it one step further to make real slotted flaps. I wil try to scan up a few of my drawings and post them up sometime this week.
OS .65 will be plenty. I probably won't end up adding a sailplane tow hook but it even if I did, I'm sure it would have plenty of power to tow a 2M or smaller. So many people over power theirmostly stock platformswith .90s and you just don't get the flight characteristics that the plane was designed for. I'm not building it to survive crashes or 3D flight. You can build strong and light, it is possible. I will be hand picking my wood and redrawing the fuselage to get rid of a lot of unnecessary crap, I'm sure it will be plenty light. Also my digital camera weighs 3 oz max
Ken,
Sound pretty intense, definatly look forward to the pics. I read somewhere else of somebody doing a twin tail but never saw pics of it.
I will probably end up going with a 2 cell Lipo for onboard power for the servos, etc.
Again, looking for pics of your mods, builds, flying pics, etc.
