Default RE: Hyperion Helios power and expectations

Great, thanks for the reply. I have heard nothing but good about how it flys so I am excited. I have searched high and low to find a plane like this. Looks good to me, flys good, and will allow me to share the packs withanother model. What do you have for servos? I was going to use the futaba 9650's (62/.11)all around except the rudder which will get a 9452 (128/.11). I did notice some complaints about the elevator joiner so I was planing to run a 9650 on each half. Also some said far less throw was needed than specified so maybe run under ratio on the linkage, i.e. 1" servo horn/1.25" surface horn to help reduce the effects of gear slop and increaseresolution. Do you have plenty of adjustability with your pack for moving the cg around? where do you like the cg? The 8s will be a little different, I know.
I was going to get the plane today but noticed it is on back order from AlleRC. Dangit. Gonna get the 10e version just for fun too. What prop do you run? looks like I might barely make it in to the new Xoar 18" pattern props with this plane. Thanks for your time
