You're not wrong about the idle Arch. It's unfortunate that LiPo's have such a high voltage for this application i.e. 3S is not enough and 4S is a little too much... Would be nice if they did half cells. A123 cells may be a better option due to their lower voltage.

I have a set of 4 A123 cells on my starter. Works great! Turns over 140-170's with ease. I looked for years trying to find a good battery pack for starters. After trying A123's I'll never go back to other types of batteries.
