Thanks for the information. One question though: Is it necessary for me to buy the AR6200 since I am only using 4 channels. I don't want to spend a whole lot of money, but I don't want to sacrifice quality either.
You aren't buying the 6200 for the channel capacity, you buy it for the extended range and reception it gets you. I use the 6200 in all planes above Foamy Park flyer sized and have never had an issue. I have seen some that decided to use a 6100 in a Balsa model lose it. I think the extra $20 is worth it for the safety factor. The AR 500 is another good choice for Balsas that are not Aerobats but it won't save you much if any money vs. the 6200.
