Default RE: Receiver for DX6i

ORIGINAL: The Ghost

You aren't buying the 6200 for the channel capacity, you buy it for the extended range and reception it gets you.
The AR 500 is a full range receiver and never had any problems with it, he is looking for a receiver to go in a cub not a pattern aircraft.

Cheers

I use the 6200 in all planes above Foamy Park flyer sized and have never had an issue. I have seen some that decided to use a 6100 in a Balsa model lose it. I think the extra $20 is worth it for the safety factor. The AR 500 is another good choice for Balsas that are not Aerobats but it won't save you much if any money vs. the 6200.

Gots to read the whole post..
