hi ,Bea,I I think you are using a 600 size brushed motor rated at 9.6 volts and you run this motor on 18 volts to get enough power ,but you do not say what size ducted fan you are using.If you can tell me more details i may be able to help you,as for lipos you may need more voltage than what you have?
