hi ,Bea,I I think you are using a 600 size brushed motor rated at 9.6 volts and you run this motor on 18 volts to get enough power ,but you do not say what size ducted fan you are using. If you can tell me more details i may be able to help you,as for lipos you may need more voltage than what you have? http://www.hobby-lobby.com/mini_fan_..._1515_prd1.htmi got it off graupner a few years ago this is what it looks ike but it says for 48- size moror? mine might be a bigger moddle they dont sell any more.. . yeah its a graupner 600 bb turbo brushed motor 9.6 volt it puts off a fair amount of thrust. i have a feigo 540 7xl to use, what is a good rpm for EDFapplication so i know if it will be appropriot on 4s.

Hi ,Bea,I looked at fan you have found it is 68mm in dia. and uses a scremer motor which i cannot find on that site, the motor they recomend is 28mm dia. to fit fan and the 1400 they mention i think would be the kv rating of motor which means it is designed to make 1400 rpm for every volt used ,only 19600 rpm ,not enough as this fan needs to mak 30 to 40 thousand rpm so i am a little confused. most of the fans i use are from Hobby King much cheaper but need balacing.Hope this helps ,regards Ken Jack
