I went through a bit of a problem when I first got the camera. One poorly documented feature is the configuration of the camera before inserting the USB cable. Unlike most USB devices that auto-ID when inserted,one must configure the FlyCamOne 2 menu to PC for proper identification by the computer.

If your battery is too low for the menu access,just plug in the USB cable for a while to charge. It appears to charge fine without first setting up the menu to PC.
