I flew it tonight with 12 cells and all I can say it WOW, what a difference! I am dying to fly it around in FF but it is pitch dark outside. I will do it in the morning, but I will guestimate that my headspeed is running around 1700-1800 at 70% throttle. Time for proper setup and then turn on the governor.

I want to experiment with a 12 and 14 tooth pinion and 10 cells to see if I can get the same head speed with the smaller packs. Then I will know that I can fly with the 3s4p pack and save a LOT of weight! If it flys really well with a 21.5oz 10 cell pack, it will fly GREAT with a 17 oz. LiPo.

Even though the 12 cell pack is 4-5 oz heavier than the 10 cell pack, the heli is MUCH lighter on the sticks.
