Default VectorFlight 300s, anygood?

I have finished my 300S 58"! Went to the field earlier but the weather was not cooperating so I'll give it a few hours to see if it clears. I ended up having a problem with the fuel tank installation. When I pushed it into the, fuse unbeknown to me, the brass tubes from the tank cut the silicone tubing. I did'nt realize this until there was fuel running all over the fuse when I went to fill it! So if you are putting one of these together you will need to notch out space for the tubes to side in the two formers through which they pass. I witnessed the need to fuel-proof the ENTIRE inside of the fuse! Thank God I did!
The cowl ended up coming out OK. The enlarged hole for the head works well because I can get my finger in the cowl so I can cover the carb for priming purposes. I think if I get another cowl I will end up painting it rather than using the decals. They got pretty wrinkly at the nose.
I will let you know how my first flight goes.
