I have two kids an basically no one of them stoped my flying (except for the weather tollerance, of course; with less than 15°C we stay at home); with my wife agreed that the open space and nature will be great for them and we're right!!!
Kids today are 4 and 1 YO and really enjoys coming to the field with us.
So juice; enjoy your kid (unbeliebable they're funnier than RC); congratulations!!!!!!
