I agree the elbow helps and doesn't affect the RPMs. I have a question for you. I have a Fox 46 BB and am having a terrible time getting it tuned. I thought it just wasn't broken in but I have a lot of time on it and have been getting a lot of dead sticks. I've tweaked until I'm blue in the face and it still quits on me. It runs fine at high speed but when I let it idle for 10-15 seconds or more and hit the trottle I'm getting an instant stop. Have you had any similar problems?
