Default RE: Airplane Tree..

I have since put padding on the hooks so that they don't leave nice little indents on the stabs.

I decided that it's best if you can find 4 straight 2x2's(it's not as easy as it sounds, most of the 2x2's are twisted orwarped.) Anyway, I used my compound miter saw set at 5 deg miter and 5deg tilt. Cut both ends, that's what makes the tilt of the legs, andhas the top and bottom parallel to the floor. the top ply piece is 8x8"then I just tied the legs together with 1x2's. it's nice and sturdy!Mine is 6' tall, but I could have gone shorter, you see how far off thefloor that Ultra Sport 1000 is off the floor. I probably could havegone 4.5' or so and still have been good. I got the hooks at Wally World for about a $1 each.
