Default RE: GP Cap 232

Well you know the weather is going to start to turn for te better as this thread is picking up again.

My repair on the landing gear and the engine box didn't hold. I came in for a landing.. with just a small bounce and it ripped off the engine compartment. This was enough for me so I bought a new fuse for just over $100.00 from tower. I haven't started to rebuild her yet, but it's on my to do list. I've been tweeking up my PW300 and my 33% Lanier Edge and they are both field ready now.

I hear good things about the dle-30 and this frame. I think it's a perfect match. The balance is still an issue and reccomend a pul pull rudder to take as much weight out of the tail as possible. I did this along with moving my batts and electronics forward and I was still tail heavy. So much so that I added nose weigt to tame the snappyness out of it. I'll try it again this season, but last season was a terrible outing for me and this plane. Too bad cause it's such a great looking bird .. could be me though.

Ok .. I now an jone'ss for a 50cc Pilot-RC Yak with a DLE-55 .. blue flame scheme.. when will the madness stop?

Cheers,

Dan
