Well....47 minutes is kind of a record!
JJ must have been flying a low drag model, slowly and with minimum throttle.
For your type of flying, 15 minutes will be the maximum, I believe.
Set your timer for 12, and you will be allright.

I didnt go much above 1/3 throttle the entire flight. if you are flying in circles around 1/3-1/2 throttle expect at least 15 min asumbing your engines is tuned and your airplane will fly that slow, dont be surprised if you get 25+. if you drop down your nitro your flight time will increase

also
what you do is count the turns it takes to fill an empty tank when you are fueling it. then count how many turns you put into it when you are refueling it that will tell you about how much fuel your useing.
